Game 5: Minecraft

I'm sorry for the long time between games, but I've had a lot to do for work, you know how it is. This is one of my favorite games ever, its on my lists for most hours logged, and its a top notch game that's still only in beta! I even run a pay to play server 5 dollars for a permanent membership, 5/mo for a reserved slot. I have a 24 hour stream dedicated to this game, and I even have met some really great friends through it! To me this game is probably one of the only games to ever become more than a game to me, it became a lifestyle, I think this game has a lot to offer, every update is new and fresh, when they add things it feels like the game is getting better and better, and it probably wont be released for almost 6 months so they still have plenty to add, the graphics are dated purposely, but anyone who wants better ones can simply throw on one of the many texture packs that other people have created! This game is the first modern game I've reviewed so I'll review it in some different categories than the snes games

The gameplay allows you to farm blocks to create massive structures, or delve deep to gather minerals, fight monsters, and loot dungeons, or simply roam the randomly generated terrain which is endless, there is always something new and fresh to do and this game can never get old for some people.
The only reason I cant give it 10/10 for sound is some of the sounds animals make repeat too often and are annoying, but the music is top notch!
The fun in this game never stops, you can only have as much fun as your imagination can handle.
This game lasts a long time, because it lasts as long as you can imagine new stuff to do.
The graphics are dated, but the large texture pack options make it look spectacular however you want it to look.
The multiplayer is terrific, multiplayer is by far better than many other games, and the amount of players per server is only limited by the servers capabilities (that's right there are 60 player servers out there!)

Overall this game has over a million sales in beta for good reason! Check it out if you haven't already your in for a treat.
