Game 3: Secret of Mana (snes)
Before I get into this review there are two things you should know, I'm a Secret of Mana fan, I've played it through over 10 times, I own multiple copies, and I recently purchased it on my wii. The other thing is this game has continually made the top 100 games all time and top 10 rpgs all time lists. There is good reason! This game is by far better than most other snes games and is way before its time. The music is terrific, the story is compelling, the game play is addictive, and the game is long! This game is an obvious 10/10 for an snes game, because theres just simply nothing wrong with it. Its 3 players for an rpg, its action filled, you level and get stronger, you fight bosses that are both fun and challenging, and the game likes to throw curve balls. I would say if you haven't played this game yet your missing out, and this game is probably going to get the highest rating for playability and enjoyability for a game these days. I give it a 9/10 for today. I am serious, a 9/10, there are a few glitches, there is minor flaws that are inherit of snes games IE no online multiplayer, but even tho its not got any of the great features of a modern game, its still terrific. If I had 2 friends over right now I may be trying to convince them to give the game a try, I've never once looked at another game with as much respect. And I've still yet to be as impressed by anything in gaming to this date. This is a game every single gamer in existence should add to their library.
